AuthorSei Honda (Narukin/Narukin)、Twitter・FacebookFrom what I can see, on social media,Affirm and accept yourself (and others). Then, live the life you want to live and enjoy it to the fullest! This trend is gaining significant momentum.
In that trend,
• Self-affirmation → ○ Good thing
・Self-denial → ✖ Sad and bad thing
It's easy to imagine that many people simply had that kind of reaction. Furthermore, some may have realized they were prone to self-deprecation, and thus fallen into a vicious cycle of self-deprecation.
But is that really the case?Sei Honda (Narukin/Narukin)、Twitter・Facebook)teethI don't think that "denying yourself = a bad thing." Rather,Nourishment for improving things"That's what I think.
Self-affirmation and self-denial
First of all, why is it bad to deny oneself?Sei Honda (Narukin)From what I can tell, when I heard the word "self-denial",
- Affirming yourself → Being happy
- Self-denial → Self-hatred (feelings of disgust)
You might imagine a simple diagram like that. Some of you may have already noticed,
- Affirm yourself → You are OK (happy) → Stop
- Self-denial → Self-hatred (disgust) → Stop
Both diagrams stop there.
However, with a little ingenuity and imagination, this diagram can be expanded as follows:
- Affirm yourself → (Current) you are OK (happy) → Stop
・Self-denial → (Current) self × (Disgust) →How can we make it a circle?
Yes, if there's a "continuation" after you've denied something, then denying it doesn't feel sad at all.
When you feel self-deprecating, here's what you should do:
Self-denial
↓
(My current self) x (Disgust)

This is how you can make it a circle.

for that"〇◇△ (do something)
Yes, in the diagram above「〇◇△ (Something)Adding that changes everything,MyselfYou can take it there. Isn't that wonderful?NegationInfinitely towards that side"Potential for success"It's packed with it.

Instead of simply dwelling on self-doubt and sadness, try shifting your perspective slightly so that you can transform negativity into affirmation. I sincerely hope that you can improve yourself and your life.
