Things that psychologist types (INFP) dislike

The following is a quote (with some modifications) from "Let's Look at the World from the Perspective of MBTI Personality Type Theory" (website no longer exists).

I can't stand people who don't consider other people's feelings, rudely express their own opinions, and try to unilaterally impose their values on others.

I feel disgusted when I see people who casually insult others in public and show no signs of self-reflection.

I can't stand people who lack imagination and playfulness, and who only focus on doing things the safest way possible.

I am very skeptical of people who only seek profit or who behave dishonestly.

If you're not given enough time to think things through and experiment, you'll likely feel dissatisfied.

Stress response

They become overly critical of others, but it's questionable whether that criticism is constructive.

The witch lurking inside your heart surfaces, seizing the desire to manipulate others.

They may show their anger on their face. They might yell and curse.

They become stubborn and unwilling to listen to others' opinions.

I continue to wander, burdened by a sense of loneliness.

They are unable to ask others for help and try to solve everything on their own.

It might cut off relationships. However, in most cases, this won't be done in a direct way, but rather in a way that makes it seem like the relationship is fading away naturally.

I spend my days aimlessly, swept away by the stimuli of my senses and intellect, without accomplishing anything.

My heart aches.
It breaks my heart.

When you focus on all the sorrows in the world, you begin to doubt whether life itself is even worth living.

Psychologically, they are quite vulnerable and can be completely devastated. Despite this, their bodies remain resilient.

How to cope with stress

Engaging with music or literature may, to some extent, alleviate mental tension.

Helping people in need and realizing that your actions have a positive impact on others can help you regain your vitality.

However, if you want to find a fundamental solution, it's important to calm your mind. Don't get caught up in the rambling thoughts that are running through your head. To do that, you need to focus on the present moment and perceive the world as it is.

INFPs are sensitive to the universal spiritual force that sustains this world, but due to a lack of discipline and focus, they often fail to clearly perceive that force.

Meditation is effective. Just sitting is a good practice. Practice freeing yourself from distracting thoughts. In doing so, you can free yourself from unnecessary worries, vanity, and arrogance.

It's good to be free from distracting thoughts whenever needed. However, using your imagination to explore various possibilities is like a hoe or plow given to humans by the existence of this world, enabling them to live robustly. There's no need to deny that in itself.

It's important to note here that you don't need to subscribe to any particular religion or ideology. You can arrive at your own conclusions simply by thinking for yourself. If you embrace the INFP's strength of trying to see all possibilities at once, you will never be able to impose narrow-minded values on yourself or others.

As INFPs may already know, what matters is a person's true nature, and distinctions such as race, nationality, gender, family background, religion, age, appearance, education level, intelligence, and occupation are merely for convenience. We want to avoid as much as possible situations where beliefs divide people.

Let's realize that discipline is not meant to restrict people, but rather to protect their freedom.

At some point, you must decisively stop being trapped by the past. Instead, act according to facts, cause and effect, and objective reasoning to reap the rewards you deserve. If you follow your possibilities and immerse yourself in something you're passionate about, you'll find yourself smiling before you know it.

INFPs are not content with mere stability; they find true joy in life when they turn their ideas into reality and experience a sense of upward progress as a result.
