Regret over complications of ICL
The complications I experienced were likely caused by my iris protruding during surgery and then becoming thin and bald in part due to the sutures.
This means that even if you remove the lens, it cannot be put back in place.
According to the doctor,If you become tense or strain during surgery, your iris may protrude, and this is more common in younger people.That's what they said. (This is hardly mentioned online, but both doctors I consulted mentioned it.)

I underwent surgery at Matsumoto Eye Clinic in Toride, Ibaraki Prefecture, performed by Dr. Yujiro Matsumoto, the clinic's director.
At my follow-up appointment one week after the surgery, I complained to Dr. Matsumoto about glare and a white haze in my right eye, but he said that it's common to experience glare after cataract surgery, and he didn't examine me any further.
At my follow-up appointment two weeks after the surgery, I was examined by Dr. Yuichi Kaji, who said my vision was fine and didn't even mention the glare and white haze in my right eye until I brought it up. Of course, I had told the receptionist that I was concerned about those symptoms.
When I asked Professor Kaji about the cause of the glare,It might be due to lens reflection.That's what I was told.
Also, when asked about ways to reduce glare,
Professor Kaji:There are also eye drops that constrict the pupils to reduce glare.」

I decided to get a second opinion at another hospital.
I am not satisfied with the treatment I received at Matsumoto Hospital.The cause was easily discovered after a thorough examination at another hospital.
This was because the iris had become thin. Looking at the images from the examination,Even I, a layperson, could tell that part of the iris was bald.I was also shown a cross-section of the iris,It had become about half as thin as before.
Questions regarding Matsumoto Eye Clinic's response
I find it very puzzling why Matsumoto Eye Clinic couldn't identify something that other hospitals could easily detect.It wouldn't be surprising if they had noticed the iris was thinning during the examination (even I, a layperson, could tell immediately).If they knew her iris was thinning but didn't say anything, that would be a cover-up. If that's the case, it's absolutely unforgivable.
Even if that weren't the case,If the cause couldn't be determined, they could have referred the patient to another hospital.If I hadn't sought out another hospital and gotten examined there, the cause might never have been discovered.
At Matsumoto Eye Clinic, the cause of glare is "It might be due to lens reflection.Because I was told that, I was even considering replacing the lens.If I had believed that and had the lens replaced, I would never accept that diagnosis.
The thought that the sensitivity to light will never go away, even after having the lenses removed, is incredibly heartbreaking. And yet, I don't know how to cure this condition, which is agonizing. Right now, all I can say is regret. It feels like I've been thrown into hell.
I may be sensitive to bright light for the rest of my life, so I simply cannot accept this without compensation for iris damage.
Having 2.0 vision is not a success.Quality of Life (QOL) as a holistic view is important.Despite this, I feel that Matsumoto Eye Clinic disregarded this fact. I would say that in part, both the surgery and the resulting vision were failures.It would be wrong to force it into a success.
Should I get ICL surgery?
In my case, if it weren't for the glare in my right eye, ICL would have been a very good option. However, I've been left with a potentially irreversible complication in my eye, so I can no longer easily recommend it to others.
If you are considering ICL surgery, it is best to have the procedure done only at a hospital with a proven track record and proper aftercare.
