The ENFJ (Collaborator type) personality trait is "being articulate and persuasive."

When it comes to motivating others to do something they didn't originally want to do, the persuasive ENFJ is perfectly suited. They become highly trustworthy leaders, and many people will follow them.

They intuitively grasp situations and can say what's right in a very considerate way. This is why ENFJs are natural leaders who attract people. ENFJs intuitively know what the group needs and how to help them achieve their goals.

Because they have the ability to lead groups, they often rise to the top of organizations. However, (as is true of other types) their greatest strengths often cause their most troublesome problems. That is, while they are very good at working with other people and groups, they are easily discouraged and hurt when their ideas are opposed. For example, when opinions clash or they are opposed, they often feel personally attacked and harbor resentment towards the other person. Even when the other person was only trying to raise a valid issue, a simple difference of opinion tends to escalate into a matter of winning or losing. When an ENFJ in a position of power behaves this way, the organization will fall apart.

ESFJ(Sociable type)(Similarly) many of the ENFJ's caring and attentive qualities are seen as feminine, so this type of woman has an advantage. However, while ENFJ women are fine taking on leadership roles within the family, this doesn't work as well in larger organizations, as it can offend people, especially men, within those organizations. While these traits are rewarded at home and school, sadly, they can still turn into ridicule if they "go beyond the bounds" of being a woman.

As a result, even though they feel they are acting as usual, internal conflict arises. Because ENFJs are such capable leaders, male ENFJs are often seen as "man's men," and women are captivated by them. Both men and women expect ENFJ men to provide strong support with their decisiveness and strong leadership. And they are rarely disappointed. Nevertheless, because they are eloquent and talkative, they are often criticized as insincere or superficial. This type of person is often taken aback by such criticism and may subsequently become depressed and lose confidence in themselves.

Ideal compatibility type pair

ENFJs are compatible with people who are sociable, understand others' feelings, and respect others.

From an ENFJ's perspective...

  • INFP (Psychologist type)Fi – NeThey possess high empathy, the ability to understand other people's feelings, and creative thinking that can be applied in many different ways.

  • INTJ (Strategist type) :Ni – TeHaving a progressive vision and being able to translate it into practical, usable ideas.

Type pairs that are prone to conflict

ENFJs tend to clash with people who lack respect or consideration for others, have a different view of society than ENFJs, and are indifferent to social issues.

From an ENFJ's perspective...

  • ISTP (Practitioner type)Ti – SeHe has his own unique preferences, is difficult to deal with, doesn't conform to those around him, and is excessively meticulous about minute details.
  • INTP (Researcher Type)Ti – NeThey disregard the feelings of those around them and are only willing to follow their own opinions.
  • ENTP (Inventor Type)Ne – TiThey are troublesome people who do not follow the common sense of society that should naturally be followed, thus creating conflicts of interest.

Romantic compatibility type pair

ENFJs are compatible with people who share their ideal vision and can reassure them even in difficult situations.

From an ENFJ's perspective...

*The pairs that tend to clash and the pairs that have good romantic compatibility may overlap. This is because while people may dislike those who are the complete opposite of themselves due to disagreements, they may also be attracted to those who appear mysterious because they are different. However, it seems that these relationships often end up breaking down.

(Advice for those dating an ENFJ)
ENFJs are very sensitive to the feelings of others, so the happiness of their partner is essential to their own happiness. ENFJ partners should express how grateful they are for the support and care their partner provides, and make an effort to reciprocate in the same way, even if their partner doesn't ask for help.
