How ENFPs (Reformer types) set goals and gather information.

ENFPs are dreamers with many long-term aspirations. When setting goals, they often base them on these desires.
For example, I'd like to become a restaurant owner and performer, offering dinner and entertainment to guests.

However, ENFPs often struggle to create detailed action plans to achieve their goals and can lose sight of their long-term direction. Therefore, it is necessary for them to set specific and achievable goals and clearly define the concrete steps to achieve them.

For example, if an ENFP wants to become a novelist, they shouldn't start by writing the first chapter, but rather by creating an outline of the story. Then, they should elaborate on each point and weave them together.
It's also a good idea to create intermediate plans. For example, you could set target dates for completing each chapter, or decide how many words you'll write each day or week. While such schedules and routines might seem boring and impractical for a creative process, they can help this type of person stay focused. You can also make the process more enjoyable by rewarding yourself at key milestones.

Because they are adaptable, this type of person can easily take advantage of unexpected situations, but they may not be able to fit those situations into their original goals.

You should take advantage of such opportunities to expand your ambitions and develop your established priorities. After setting goals and intermediate targets, the next step is for ENFPs to gather information.
Gather information to determine what steps you need to take to achieve your goals. Also, find people who will encourage you and take responsibility for your progress, and move forward towards achieving your objectives. ENFPs should ask themselves important questions while gathering information.
For example, when choosing a job, you might ask yourself: "Who will I be working with, and for whom? How will success be measured? What key performance indicators are required, and how are salary increases structured? What are the vacation and benefits like, and what projects is the team currently working on?" ENFPs should write down a list of these important questions to avoid forgetting them. ENFPs need to be careful not to get overwhelmed by too many options. This type of person tends to overlook reality and small details. When gathering facts, it's important for ENFPs to broaden their sources of information. By determining priorities and gradually narrowing down a list of possibilities, this personality type can arrive at a more direct action plan.

Type pairs that are prone to conflict

ENFPs tend to clash with people who not only refuse to accept opinions different from their own but also criticize them.

From an ENFP's perspective...

  • ISTJ (Hardworking Type)Si – TeThey lack humor and are unwilling to accept new ideas.
  • INTJ (Strategist type) :Ni – TeThey lack a good sense of humor, are overly cautious about new ideas, and tend to look for flaws that make them unlikely to work, offering harsh criticism.

Romantic compatibility type pair

ENFPs are most compatible in romantic relationships with someone who shares their ideal worldview, understands their groundbreaking ideas, and provides a sense of security even in difficult situations.

From an ENFP's perspective...

  • ENFJ (Collaborator Type)Fe – NiThey actively accept my ideas and think about how to make them feasible.
  • INTP (Researcher Type)Ti – NeThey can help us brainstorm ideas and discuss things, and they also gather information and teach us useful things.
  • INTJ (Strategist type) :Ni – Te...and we can discuss our thoughts and, moreover, it gives us peace of mind in the long term.
  • ESFJ (Sociable Type)Fe – SiThey're fun to talk to, and they help create schedules, making it easy to understand what needs to be done next.

*The pairs that tend to clash and the pairs that have good romantic compatibility may overlap. This is because while people may dislike those who are the complete opposite of themselves due to disagreements, they may also be attracted to those who appear mysterious because they are different. However, it seems that these relationships often end up breaking down.

(Advice for those dating an ENFP)
ENFPs tend to be passionate and enthusiastic in romantic relationships. Because they often focus on what's possible rather than the present, long-term relationships can sometimes be challenging. To maintain a romantic relationship and keep it going, it's important for them to explore new ways to add excitement to their love life.
