INFP (Psychologist type) personality trait: "Doing things that benefit society"

As an IF type, you possess your own ethics and ideals, and strive to be of service to others according to them. You often find a sense of accomplishment in performing noble service that benefits society, much like Joan of Arc.

If you had to describe an INFP in one word, it would be "idealist." This type doesn't like being labeled and likes to do things that make people think, "That's not the person I am." This sometimes manifests as unpredictable, eccentric behavior. For example, an INFP woman who is considered "obedient" by others might go to a costume party where she's instructed to dress in a way that reflects her "true self," but instead wears a gaudy outfit and dresses up as rock singer Madonna (Reference:ESTPHe has come dressed as (someone else).

*Madonna's MBTI (16 types) is estimated to be ESTP.

In terms of interpersonal relationships, INFPs are easygoing and tend to go along with others. They value harmony more than causing trouble, and will "adapt to others" as long as it doesn't require them to compromise their own ideals.

INFPs have their own set of life "rules," which they don't impose on others, but they try to strictly adhere to them themselves. However, once those "rules" are trampled upon, they can become extremely intimidating, surprising others, and sometimes even themselves with their own behavior.

One example of this is when a mother feels her child has been treated unfairly at school.

This INFP mother, who usually gives the impression of being quiet and reserved, will use every means possible to correct the injustice and pursue the school with all her might to create a better school environment—because she believes that a better school environment will benefit not only her own child but also the other students.

INFP men are sometimes seen as too gentle, or even effeminate, by others, especially men who believe men should be more traditionally masculine. Because they are passive and don't take on unnecessary responsibilities, they are often seen as lacking the "leave it to me!" attitude when it comes to roles that are considered traditionally male.

However, when they feel their values are threatened, they can suddenly adopt a harsh attitude. In the workplace, at home, or among friends, those who don't understand this may see them as having a dual nature, and they may also be perceived as unpredictable and moody.

If you marry someone with blood type E, you'll be told you're under your wife's thumb. However, even in modern times, if you don't realize that there are limits to how much power a wife can have, your marriage may not go well. Of course, it's a different story if you and your wife, both with blood type E, completely accept each other's personalities and you give her complete control.

INFP women are often seen as admirable and respected in social situations because of their personality. While their "quiet but stubborn" nature is often perceived as "not pushy but inflexible" in men, in women it is sometimes praised as "strong-willed."

Type pairs that are prone to conflict

INFPs tend to clash with pushy types who don't respect individual values and exert psychological pressure.

Romantic compatibility type pair

INFPs are most compatible in romantic relationships with people with whom they can easily discuss opinions and who can complement their weaknesses and shortcomings.

Similar to friendships, INFPs can sometimes struggle to get close to potential romantic partners. Once a relationship is established, they are fiercely loyal. However, their romantic views on love can be overly idealistic, leading them to have excessively high expectations of their partner, which can be difficult for the other person to handle. They also tend to take things personally and try to avoid conflict.

From an INFP's perspective...

*The pairs that tend to clash and the pairs that have good romantic compatibility may overlap. This is because while people may dislike those who are the complete opposite of themselves due to disagreements, they may also be attracted to those who appear mysterious because they are different. However, it seems that these relationships often end up breaking down.

(Advice for those dating an INFP)
If your partner is an INFP, keep in mind that you may have difficulty getting them to open up, they can be overly sensitive to criticism, and they may prioritize your happiness over their own.
