When you think about something, what criteria do you usually use to consider things? For people who tend to think a lot but have trouble taking action (this is common among INTPs, INFPs, etc.), I have a criterion I recommend.
Everything in the world can be divided into two categories.
- Things I can be involved in and influence
- Things that I cannot control or move.
What could be in category 1? ...Today's homework, cleaning your room, your own work (writing your resume if you're on leave)... there's anything, really.
So, what could be number 2? ...A friend's smartphone broke, global warming, a celebrity's affair.
Of theseIt's recommended to focus solely on point 1 and use that to change things.is.
Why is it wrong to consider option 2? If you think about option 2 carefully, it's the same as worrying about the movement of celestial bodies (the stars at night). I don't think anyone here has the superhuman ability to change the movement of the moon or Mars, and therefore, you can't change the movement of the sun or comets, which you have no control over, right? Also, even if a meteorite were to fall to Earth, you have no way to stop it, right? So, even if a meteorite were to fall, worrying about it until it hits is pointless. Option 2 is the same. It's impossible for you alone to fundamentally solve global warming and save humanity and animals on Earth, or to stop celebrities from having affairs and help them build happy families (you can't even meet them in the first place).
So, you're saying there's something I can do if my friend's phone breaks? Yes, in that case, go to step 2 → step 1, find a phone repair shop, and message them with the URL and a map.
If that's not possible,Just keep doing the tasks listed in item 1.That's right. By the time you've finished the list of things to do in step 1, I think you'll be able to influence politics and anything else, and that's when you'll be able to stop global warming at the government level, as mentioned in step 2.
Even so, it might be okay to keep celebrity infidelity on list number two forever (lol).
