The conflict, compromise, and integration of introverted thinking (Ti) and extroverted feeling (Fe).

The following is a quote (with some modifications) from "Let's Look at the World from the Perspective of MBTI Personality Type Theory" (website no longer exists).

The challenge for ENTPs in adolescence is their second psychological function. Introverted Thinking (Ti) and the third psychological function Extraverted Feeling (Fe) The goal is to strike a balance.

Do you prioritize resourcefulness, efficiency, and logical consistency, and assert your own opinions? Or do you value cooperation and spending enjoyable time with others? A conflict arises between these two paths.

Which of these two psychological functions is dominant depends on the time and situation. It's impossible to integrate and utilize both effectively from the start. You have to skillfully choose which to use depending on the circumstances.

Generally, introverted thinking works better for you, but when you're behaving in a sociable and active way, you'll likely use extroverted feeling more often.

Sometimes, one of these psychological functions can become too dominant, leading to negative consequences. In reality, a unified perception is achieved when these two psychological functions work together in balance.

When introverted thinking becomes too dominant, it can lead to judgments that completely disregard human factors, causing others to perceive it as unethical or dishonest.

While being shrewd and skeptical about profit, I also care about what others think of me.

Normally, I am charming and have good communication skills. Especially when meeting someone for the first time, I strive to be polite and avoid causing any offense.

We are often impressed by people who are good at socializing, or who possess sincerity and passion. However, we may sometimes take what others say at face value and fail to discern their true intentions or whether they are trustworthy.

Sometimes, they start arguments by pointing out the other person's inefficiencies or lack of consistency. They can also be off-putting due to their malicious ideas or twisted humor.

When criticized, I find it difficult to be honest and sometimes get angry over trivial things or behave rudely. This might be perceived as arrogance. I often prioritize my desire for knowledge or personal gain, which can cause people to distance themselves from me. At such times, I feel alienated because I can't properly communicate my feelings to others.

In reality, I enjoy spending time with others and, if possible, building cooperative relationships. I often plan to spend my leisure time with friends, and I'm generous enough to invite them to my home.

Especially in your youth, while your social circle may expand, it may be difficult to maintain lasting, warm connections with people. Nevertheless, you will gradually learn to be polite, discern the needs and abilities of others, think logically about what needs to be done, communicate ideas, and build cooperative relationships. And when you have the opportunity to work together and achieve results, you will gain more trustworthy colleagues.

Furthermore, exposure to nature and art, as well as romantic relationships, helps refine one's sensibilities and fosters balance. If one is fortunate enough to meet a devoted partner, they may be deeply moved, and even if they previously didn't believe in the value of devotion, their perspective might change.
