Things that INTJs (architects/strategists) dislike

The following is a quote (with some modifications) from "Let's Look at the World from the Perspective of MBTI Personality Type Theory" (website no longer exists).

They will refuse to be forced to act based on the atmosphere of the moment without being given time to think things through.

I cannot tolerate following illogical decisions that will inevitably lead to problems later on.

It's infuriating to see people taking the long way around instead of planning things out properly beforehand, which would eliminate unnecessary steps.

It can be difficult to control one's anger when faced with slander, defamation, or criticism that lacks solid evidence.

Stress response

They start to obsessively focus on minor details, and as a result, they lose the ability to see things from a broader perspective.

I am in a state of extreme mental confusion.

Feeling unappreciated by everyone, I become overwhelmed by loneliness.

Excessive eating and drinking, and disruptions to daily routines become more pronounced.

I tend to get absorbed in TV and video games without any plan or intention.

You will lose control of your destructive impulses.

They impulsively indulge in physical pleasure. Or, they become excessively ascetic, conversely inflicting pain on their bodies.

How to cope with stress

Of course, if the problem can be solved by thinking analytically and theoretically, and strictly adhering to methodologies, then it would be best to prioritize that approach.

However, if those are not the root cause of the problem, then making healthy use of introverted feeling or extroverted sensing can be the key to escaping feelings of stagnation.

It may be necessary to re-examine the meaning and significance of what we do and to regain our passion for it. To achieve this, engaging with music and nature, and conversing with receptive people can be beneficial.

Exercise is a good way to keep your extroverted sensing functioning properly.

Another good approach is to focus on something in your surroundings and simply observe it for a while without thinking about anything. As you carefully observe the details of that object, your mind will clear again, and your primary psychological function, introverted intuition, will begin to work smoothly.
