Things that hardworking types (ISTJ) dislike
The following is a quote (with some modifications) from "Let's Look at the World from the Perspective of MBTI Personality Type Theory" (website no longer exists).
I find it frustrating when people get easily excited by impulsive ideas, disregard methods and procedures, and act on their emotions without carefully considering their course of action.
They will become dissatisfied if they are not given enough time to think things through or to work carefully. They do not like having results disclosed at an incomplete stage.
I get annoyed when people ignore established methods, get excited about new things, and emphasize creativity.
I have a strong opinion against those who disregard social and organizational discipline and rules, and act selfishly based on personal fear or biased beliefs.
Stress response
When you have to deal with unusual situations or grapple with understanding abstract concepts, it requires a considerable amount of energy, and you'll likely feel exhausted.
They start to obsess over trivial things. And they become nagging and try to impose their own judgment on others.
They give off a somewhat cold impression and tend to withdraw into themselves.
I isolate myself and become pessimistic.
I often recall past events and feel indignant or overwhelmed with grief. These thoughts linger in my mind, causing me great distress.
I'll become a germaphobe.
In stark contrast to their usual sloppiness, they become carefree and their interests shift from one thing to another as they please.
You might give in to impulsive intellectual curiosity, buying unnecessary things or endlessly watching TV or reading books. Conversely, you might become extremely ascetic and unable to relax at all.
How to cope with stress
Your mind needs a breath of fresh air. To achieve this, I recommend taking a bold step and doing something different than usual.
ISTJs have a strong sense of responsibility and cannot relax unless they have completed their tasks, but sometimes it's important to put that aside for a while and enjoy some freedom.
Interacting with people or encountering something in the city or nature might spark an idea. It could be a completely new concept, breathing new life into your mind. While it's important to always be rational, just as a sense of urgency can help you avoid danger, having a hopeful outlook allows you to take on challenges.
