How ENTJs (Leader types) set goals and gather information.

ENTJs are able to set long-term, detailed goals and visualize them very clearly. They begin planning by working backward, asking themselves, "What do I need to do to achieve this goal?"

For example, someone aspiring to be a physicist might apply to top-tier physics programs, work under a professor whose research interests align with their own, secure grants to publish papers, participate in research conferences, and take various other measures to build a solid foundation for achieving their goal.

The biggest challenge when creating such detailed plans is that ENTJs have difficulty adjusting their course or adapting to unforeseen circumstances. For ENTJs, it's important to prepare multiple alternative plans and to take time to pause and reconsider if the current plan starts to look uncertain.

To achieve this, it is effective to increase the time spent on information gathering and crisis management.
For example, an ENTJ aspiring to be a lawyer might consult with successful lawyers, shadow professionals for a few days, enroll in a preparatory law course, or talk to professors and other experts to gather as much information as possible. ENTJs tend to overlook slightly off-topic, related information. To broaden their information gathering, an ENTJ should consider visiting a library. Documenting priorities and creating a "list" of things they are interested in would also be useful tools for this type of person.

A pair with good romantic compatibility

ENTJs are compatible with people who can interact with them without regard for their own interests, even in difficult situations, and who are comfortable to be around.

From an ENTJ's perspective...

*The pairs that tend to clash and the pairs that have good romantic compatibility may overlap. This is because while people may dislike those who are the complete opposite of themselves due to disagreements, they may also be attracted to those who appear mysterious because they are different. However, it seems that these relationships often end up breaking down.

(Advice for those dating an ENTJ)
reference ENTJ and romance
ENTJs often appear very domineering in romantic relationships. Because they struggle to handle emotions, they can sometimes seem insensitive to their partner's feelings. However, this doesn't mean ENTJs lack emotions; they simply cannot express their feelings unless they are in a comfortable environment.

ENTJs are very keen to improve interpersonal relationships and are always looking for ways to enhance them.

If you're having problems with your ENTJ partner, don't try to hide the issue; be frank and honest. Your partner wants to hear how you actually feel, not just guess at your feelings.
