How INFJs (Empathic Personalities) Set Goals and Gather Information

INFJs enjoy setting goals. They tend to set several lofty long-term objectives and have strategies to achieve them, but they often struggle to capitalize on unexpected opportunities.

For this type of person, it's effective to set various goals that offer concrete outcomes, rather than creating multiple action paths for a single objective. This ensures that alternative plans are in place if the initial plan doesn't materialize. Creating these intermediate benchmarks also helps track ongoing success.

INFJs should also set aside time to consider goals and ideals they hadn't thought of before. By exploring outside of established frameworks, they can open up unprecedented possibilities. Because INFJs prefer to focus on the future, they may get stuck at the goal-setting stage. An important tip for INFJs to remember is to limit themselves to realistic goals and maintain a positive mindset.

Once an INFJ sets a goal, it's in their nature to research ways to improve themselves. Gathering information is a comfortable step for the INFJ personality type. They often find opportunities to educate themselves within their future goals. However, during this information-gathering stage, they may overlook important facts. Instead of relying on limited sources, they should broaden their search to include a variety of sources. This includes contacting experts and knowledgeable people in their field related to their goal.

From an INFJ's perspective...

*The pairs that tend to clash and the pairs that have good romantic compatibility may overlap. This is because while people may dislike those who are the complete opposite of themselves due to disagreements, they may also be attracted to those who appear mysterious because they are different. However, it seems that these relationships often end up breaking down.

(Advice for those dating an INFJ)

As a partner, it's important to create an intimate atmosphere and provide the support an INFJ needs. The qualities an INFJ seeks in a partner are sincerity, honesty, and a genuine, authentic approach.
