INFJ and romance

The following is a quote (with some modifications) from "Let's Look at the World from the Perspective of MBTI Personality Type Theory" (website no longer exists).

I seek a spiritual connection.

On the other hand, I am captivated by her sexy physique.

However, because they take relationships seriously and are very composed, it's unlikely they'll naturally end up in a romantic relationship.

I don't usually do things like "just to try it out" or "I'll take the plunge and try it." In love, doing that really takes courage.

However, they often fall in love at first sight and become passionately obsessed, almost as if possessed by a fever. At first, they may be unable to escape their own world of fantasy, but eventually, they may find it unbearable and try to subtly but actively express their feelings.

On the other hand, some people surrender to impulsive and hedonistic relationships. This may be more common among men.

If I am fortunate enough to find someone with whom I can feel a strong emotional connection, I will cherish that bond very much.

Humility, consideration, and a love for art and refined tastes all play a role in nurturing romance.

We deepen our relationship by sharing experiences together, such as going to stylish restaurants and lively places, or experiencing beautiful nature.

When people get married, they cherish the bonds of family as something irreplaceable. On the other hand, they often struggle to tolerate the gap between their expectations and reality, keeping their feelings bottled up inside and accumulating resentment.

Perhaps because their insights into others easily turn into suspicion, or perhaps because their inner aesthetic image and idealized vision are too strong, INFJs, along with INFPs, tend to have low levels of satisfaction with marriage.

This could be partly because they don't broaden their horizons and socialize, thus reducing their chances of finding someone they truly connect with.

There are bound to be quite a few ESTJs in a dual relationship, ISTPs in an active relationship, and ENFPs in a mirror image relationship, so please take this as a reference. To be precise, there seem to be many ISTP men, but fewer ISTP women.
