Operator (worker)
They enjoy construction, building, repair, outdoor work, physical activity, and generally using their bodies to accomplish specific tasks or engage in adventure. Many also enjoy working with tools, computers, computer networks, and machinery.
Furthermore, they prefer to find solutions to clearly defined problems and often see the world in black and white rather than gray.
They excel at problem-solving using specific tools, enjoy physical activity and are physically fit, logical and intelligent, and adept at understanding how things work. They prefer occupations that require specific skills, such as those involving machinery, computers, and heavy equipment. Their work environments often include construction, product manufacturing, and other technical fields. They prefer working independently within a company, often with people at specific levels.
Analysts & Scientists
I have a strong scientific inclination and a thirst for knowledge, and I enjoy researching, analyzing, and exploring. I tend to feel comfortable in academic or research environments. I also enjoy discovering new facts and interpreting data.
I enjoy tackling abstract tasks that involve critical thinking, conducting experiments and research in the laboratory, accumulating and structuring the data I find, analyzing research, and solving problems.
They are not only proficient in various scientific and mathematical fields, but also skilled at writing. They tend to be independent, preferring to work alone and express themselves in their own words, often working alone in the workplace. Those who score highly on the survey theme require a workplace environment that offers a certain degree of flexibility to accommodate diverse working styles, along with their independent work style. They often work in computer companies, medical institutions, universities, and research institutes.
People whose motivation, interest, or passion is "research" tend to see their work as a substitute for their hobby, and it's not uncommon for them to work 12 to 14 hours a day.
Many of them work as consultants or scientists. They are the type who prefer to achieve results as individuals rather than contributing to an organization. Another characteristic of this type is that they are often drawn to the unknown and unexplained rather than to known and established facts.
Artist
I can create and enjoy art, drama, music, and writing. I have a strong desire to express myself. I can enjoy art both as a participant and as a spectator.
Whether as a participant or an observer, you likely enjoy all aspects of art, both at work and in your leisure time, and you're often surrounded by adventure and activity.
Individuals may be interested in a variety of art forms, but all of them are related to artistic work activities and interests.
For example, it relates to creating something at work, such as writing articles (works) or carving new pieces for exhibitions.
Many are also drawn to activities that involve performing in front of an audience, such as acting or playing a musical instrument. They possess strong language skills and are adept at effective communication. They tend to choose to be themselves rather than conform to existing social standards, and are often characterized by their appreciation for their own emotions and the beauty of the world around them.
They prefer a work environment that is adaptable, with flexible schedules and structures, and they need the freedom to express themselves as they see fit. They often find work in art studios, museums, galleries, and design companies, where they can create their favorite works of art, and they also frequently teach specific art forms at universities and art institutes.
Furthermore, they tend to express their artistic tastes not only in their work, but also in their leisure and recreational activities.
Supporters (helpers)
Leader (pioneer, persuader, boss)
They tend to seek positions with power, status, and leadership, and are skilled at sales, management, and persuasion.
(*In both business and daily life, they often like to take on managerial positions or leadership roles, and are skilled at persuading others.)
In many cases, I enjoy working in groups where everyone collaborates to achieve economic or ultimate goals.
They often focus on economic success. Generally, many of them "dislike scientific activity."
*Economic activities (wanting to succeed socially, wanting to make money) and scientific activities (wanting to know the truth, wanting to investigate) are completely unrelated in terms of "interest, concern, and motivation."
Furthermore, they tend to be willing to take financial and interpersonal risks to achieve their goals, and they are highly competitive in both their work and personal lives.
In their typical work, they often find themselves persuading others, leading discussions and presentations, managing people, and pleasing customers. They are described as having high energy and confidence, and are healthy and optimistic. They are organized and always focused on the task at hand and their goals, while also being adventurous in their ideas and willing to take risks for success. They generally thrive in workplaces such as government agencies, large corporations, financial institutions, private companies, and large for-profit enterprises.
Starter, Creator
<Explanation>
They tend to be more of an E type (extroverted vs. I type, introverted), and are often seen as idea generators, creative, original, and unique, with a strong ability to draw others in.
Most entrepreneurs are motivated by the desire to realize the visions, images, and ideas they have in their minds, and they love planning. They enjoy identifying problems that need solving and are good at brainstorming. They are also good at viewing things from multiple perspectives.
(*This refers to viewing things from multiple perspectives and effectively combining multiple ideas to come up with solutions.)
They can act without fear even in fields and places with many unknown and uncertain elements that many people fear (→ see: ENTP, Enneagram 7). They are overwhelmingly risk-takers.
I tend to be interested in relatively new fields (for example, Bitcoin, AI, cryptocurrencies, etc.), but fundamentally, I like to identify problems in the world and solve them in original and creative ways, so I'd say I'm open to any field where I can experience something new that I've never experienced before.
Therefore, I am very good at coming up with the optimal arrangement for things that do not yet exist, and at bringing things to fruition in a single step (from initial idea to completion).
Working for a company or business in its early stages or transitional phase (startup, venture company) where you can make your own decisions is a good option, and becoming a CEO is also a great idea. This is because you have the power to turn ideas that might otherwise be forgotten into reality.
However, if you have too many ideas and struggle to prioritize, be careful not to take on too many things at once, resulting in everything being half-finished.
Because of their momentum, they often take action and involve their colleagues even in situations where others are afraid and stop in their tracks. They also sometimes encourage those who are hesitant to act.
To begin with, I'm the type of person who can't help but act on an idea once I come up with it.
Rather than spending long meetings or sitting around discussing ideas, my motto is "Let's do it, let's get started," and I'm always itching to get moving. This is because, while I understand the benefits of debate and discussion, I believe that "there's no value without action." I'm the type who thinks as I do and acts as I think. I'm the type who learns and grows a lot from taking action.
<How to unleash your talent>
You should choose a profession where "ideas and creativity" and "proactiveness" are primarily important. Since you tend to get bored easily and like to do things in unconventional ways, it's best to avoid monotonous jobs with a lot of routine work or fields that are considered "traditional."
This is suitable for roles such as "planner," "producer," "solution proposer," "venture company manager," and "VC (venture capitalist = startup investor)."
To turn an idea into reality, a supportive environment is essential, requiring engineers and supporters. This necessitates clearly communicating and sharing ideas and possibilities. If this isn't done, even if the person is simply trying to improve something, they may move too quickly, causing others to feel overwhelmed and drop out.
Engineers turn the dreams of starters and creators into reality.
Supporters provide a consistent rhythm to starters and creators who are full of enthusiasm in the initial stages but tend to lose interest and become complacent once the business actually starts running. They help maintain a pace that allows them to rekindle their motivation regularly.
Get introduced to someone, or go to an environment where you can be introduced. Relying on a connector (someone who connects people) with many acquaintances is also an option. However, this type of person may take the initiative to do so without being told by anyone.
To turn an idea into reality, it's crucial to focus only on what's important and stay focused. While you may be quick-witted and good at coming up with ideas, you might struggle with prioritizing. Therefore, it's a good idea to have an analyst, who excels at analysis, scrutinize the validity of your ideas. Also, there's an optimal timing and place for things to work out, so it would be beneficial to have someone help you consider those as well.
When you start your own business and it becomes successful, you'll find yourself dealing with more routine work (repetitive and monotonous tasks), but you can rely on supporters to handle this effectively. Alternatively, you could have a master (manager) review your current system and create a more efficient one.
For designers, it's important to showcase their work as early as possible in a place where they can demonstrate their abilities (in this day and age, social media is the quickest way).

Engineer (Technician)
<Explanation>
The vast majority are INTPs and Enneagram Type 5s. There are also a few INTJs and other types.
While there are both E-types (extroverts) and I-types (introverts), the overwhelming majority are NT-types (abstract and logical types). Occasionally, there are also ST-types (sensing and logical types).
You can showcase your talent in any field, but the crucial point is "whose" engineering you're working on. Consider who (which starter, creator, or leader) you want to follow. The people you meet will significantly impact your life.
trader
<Explanation>
They assess the value of assets that fluctuate and buy and sell them. The assets they trade include a variety of types such as stocks, foreign currencies, and options. Some buy multiple assets, while others focus solely on stocks. Many of them are skilled at timing and seeing how things will unfold.
While there are both E-types (extroverts) and I-types (introverts), the overwhelming majority are NT-types (abstract and logical types).
To showcase your talent: First and foremost, get a job at a financial institution (such as an asset management company or securities firm). Once you're in, you'll likely succeed, but if you don't have a high level of education, that might even be the most challenging part.
Another type is the one that engages in so-called "reselling" or "arbitrage." They have a unique eye for quality and generate profits from the price difference when buying and selling goods through auction sites like Mercari and Yahoo! Auctions, or through their own buyback sites.
Celebrities (famous people, well-known figures)
<Explanation>
This group includes many people who are well-known and whose names are often associated with them. They tend to be extroverted and outgoing, and many are F-type (feeling type).
Celebrities (talents, idols) and YouTubers
Singers, writers, and essayists are prime examples, and they are figures who are not easily accessible (or meetable). Some famous Instagrammers also sell their own branded products.
In recent years, a common pattern is for people to become famous on social media due to their glamorous appearance or entertaining talent, or to make a name for themselves in business and create online communities (essentially fan clubs).
*Singers are included in both the category of artists and celebrities.
A connector (a person who connects disconnected individuals to other people or to the most suitable location).
<Explanation>
Master (ruler)
<Explanation>
Introverts make up the vast majority. Many are T-types (logical types) who focus on details and remember data meticulously. While many company executives are NTJ (abstract, thinking, and judging) types, there are also a fair number of STJ (sensing, thinking, and judging) types. There are also a small number of F-types (feeling types). These are people who have steadily risen through the ranks from entry-level employees to CEOs of large corporations, or who are CEOs of manufacturing companies.
This type is often frugal and diligently builds things up little by little. They also tend to make decisions based on reliable, known facts rather than the unknown.
