ISTJ(Hard worker type)ISTJ parents want to raise their children in a comfortable, balanced environment so that they will one day become valuable members of society. They establish certain rules and structures in their children's daily lives and try to ensure that their children follow the rules and are well-behaved. While ISTJ parents have high expectations of their children, they may not always offer warm words or even acknowledge their child's individuality. However, as parents, they are extremely devoted and constantly strive to give their children the best they can.

ISTJ(Hard worker type)These parents take their parental responsibilities seriously throughout their lives. They impose rules and regulations on their children and spouses, expecting them to obey without complaint. They clearly define the roles of parent and child, believing that each has its own appropriate responsibilities.

This type of parent often assigns tasks for their children to do on weekends to prevent them from wasting time. They have a strong aversion to laziness and believe that "working diligently" is in everyone's best interest. They schedule even relaxation time and take proper breaks (=J-type(Characteristics of this feature).

ISTJThe same applies to children of this type. They complete their homework on time and are usually excellent students. Their bedrooms are neat and tidy, and they are never late for meals. The child has clearly drawn a line between themselves and their parents, understanding that "children should listen to what their parents say."

I feel stressed when family members who are different from me don't follow rules and regulations, or when I have to adjust to the schedules of my parents or other elders. Even then, I eventually give in and comply with the adults, but I show considerable discomfort. Through that discomfort, I'm testing whether the adults are responsibly fulfilling their roles.
