The ISTJ (hard worker) personality trait: "I will do what needs to be done."
ISTJs are responsible individuals who take action based on a sense of responsibility. Although introverted, their sense of responsibility in interpersonal relationships allows them to behave appropriately in social situations, including engaging in conversation. Depending on the situation, they may behave sociably, sometimes leading to them being mistaken for extroverts. However, this misunderstanding is incorrect. This type of introvert can, depending on the circumstances, adopt an extroverted persona without changing their inherent introverted nature.

These types are simply fulfilling their responsibilities by "doing what needs to be done."
Regarding differences between men and women, in today's society,Thinking type (T type)Because this trait is considered masculine, thinking-type (T-type) women end up swimming against the current.
This is especially true for ISTJ women. While this type's strong sense of responsibility is admirable, it directly contradicts traditional notions of "femininity." Moreover, because they are fundamentally traditionalists, they struggle to balance traditional feminine roles with their objective and plan-oriented (TJ type) personality, leading to internal conflict.
In contrast, ISTJ men are "perfectly suited" to this personality type. They are sometimes described as "too macho," to the point that they may not be popular with women.
ISTJs are efficient and quick at household chores, keeping their homes neat and tidy. They are the type who insist on having breakfast at 8am, lunch at noon, and dinner at 6pm no matter what. They especially value spending time with family, including holidays, and will spare no expense to make time for them.
They tend to get disappointed or bothered when other types of family members don't keep pace. Their earnest, tradition-oriented way of life tends to be reflected in their family and outward appearance.
You can see this clearly when you look at an ISTJ's house from the outside. The garden is painted in calming colors, and there are no bicycles or toys scattered around; it has a modest yet tasteful appearance. Moreover, everything is in its proper place.

However, it seems that these relationships often end up breaking down.
(Advice for those dating an ISTJ)
ISTJs experience deep emotions, but often struggle to show this side of themselves in romantic relationships. Those in a relationship with an ISTJ can be understanding partners by not expecting the ISTJ to immediately reveal their feelings. Sometimes, an ISTJ may seem oblivious to your feelings, but you can help them understand your perspective by rationally presenting facts and logical explanations.
